from 134 reviewsI haven't worth this yet, but it's obvious the quality of Victory Puzzles continues to be outstanding. The images and pieces are top notch (pun intended). Love!

I realy enjoyed this puzzle i found it quite difficult. Lots of different ways to make them and the cut unushall. Lots of lovely wimsies and i left the victory fingers till last as you surgested.

Loved doing this puzzle. A few of the pieces were still joined so I've left them, and it doesn't affect the overall finish so alls good.
Love the new style boxes.

Bought for someone else so can't comment much, although I will say their new boxes are lovely

Although i loved making this puzzle i was disapointed in the wood showing on the puzzles any other puzzle you might not notice but with black bits missing its very noticable. The more i look the more i notice it. Loved all the wimsies and how some go to gether.

Summary: I hope you but this puzzle and enjoy it as much as I did. In more words …
It's modern in a couple of ways, as the image is from someone still under 30, and the puzzle packaging has been revamped. If you want to look at the picture while solving, you no longer need the free stand for the box lid, as the box lid is no longer separate from the box. That said, it's your choice of course, but I'd suggest trying it without picture peeking.
It's old style, as it brings back some trickery that was more common in old wooden jigsaws - "line cutting", which means that the edges of pieces coincide with boundaries of areas with particular colours. In those ancient puzzles, it was at least sometimes combined with "push fit" - no lugs to keep pieces together once you realise they go next to each other. There is a bit of that in this puzzle to achieve a particular artistic effect, but you don't need to do this one on a special surface to avoid moving pieces that you don't want to move, or worry about your cat ruining hours of puzzling by visiting the table. If you haven't come across line cutting before, it may well be quite a tricky puzzle, but it's worth persevering.
Another mixture of old and new is the whimsy pieces. As a feature of wooden jigsaws, they go back a long way, but the idea of relating them to the image and most of them being original rather than reused is newer.

No! There is some quiet but effective trickery in this puzzle, especially if you do it without picture peeking. I'm not going to tell you about all of it, as it would spoil the puzzle, but there is one whimsy in particular which is cleverly positioned. Most obviously, there's a lot of blue, and the breaking waves that join quite a few pieces are another contribution to difficulty as well as fun. The whimsies are satisfying as miniature works of art, some involving some unusual shapes.

It is a gift for my girlfriend, she really love it.

Well-made puzzle and loved the unique koi fish image.

Sent several of these puzzles to friends as a thank you gift. They absolutely love them!

I love Victory puzzles. The design, the durability and cut of each piece is truly unique and a challenge for the curious puzzlier.

I enjoyed this puzzle so much. It was the perfect balance of fun and challenge. It had new whimseys I hadn't seen before and the colors were vibrant and beautiful. Great first puzzle experience. I'll be back for more.
