About the artist, Lucy:
I love to paint wild birds and animals, countryside and coastal scenery along with gardens, old buildings and little bits of country life.
My paintings are a magical interpretation of what I've seen mixed in with happy thoughts about a place, illustrating special moments in time.
My aim is to inspire others, create a feeling of warmth and capture their imagination too.
I ordered several puzzles recently, this bunny one being my favorite! The variety of artwork puzzles that Victory offers is wonderful. I love the magnetic box and the design on the box is elegant but premium feeling. The pieces are decent quality, though I wouldn't say great. I had several pieces where the wood was chipped, thankfully not on the image side. With the pieces being wooden, there is obviously more play than a cardboard jigsaw puzzle. With that being said, some of the pieces have large gaps which is distracting to say the least. With other wood puzzle brands you can "smoosh" the puzzle inwards after you've completed it to tighten the gaps in-between the pieces. For Victory, this is possible in some areas but other areas were clearly overcut and the larger gap remains the same. Kind of disappointing! They're not the most expensive puzzles but I expected a little better quality. If there's another image that I fall in love with, I may considering purchasing it on sale though. Otherwise, I think there are other wood puzzle brands that are more worth the price.
