Early last century, Victory produced many puzzles featuring Cunard ocean liners. They were very popular in their day.

As a tribute to those early puzzles, we have launched a travel poster puzzle featuring one of the most famous ships of her time.

RMS Aquitania was a British ocean liner of the Cunard Line in service from 1914 to 1950. She was launched on 21 April 1913 and sailed on her maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York on 30 May 1914.

Considered during this period of time as one of the most attractive ships, Aquitania earned the nickname "The Ship Beautiful" from her passengers.

Aquitania was the third in Cunard Line's grand trio of express liners, preceded by RMS Mauretania and RMS Lusitania, and was the last surviving four-funnelled ocean liner.

She was converted to be both a hospital ship and a troop carrier in both world wars.

Aquitania ended her career as the longest-serving Cunard vessel when she retired from service in 1949.

Fabulous puzzle!

I loved doing this. It was an evenings work, surprisingly hard. Beautifully made, I saw a complaint about the white wood showing on the black bits on this puzzle but mine was absolutely perfect. Tight, quite thick, very cleanly cut and an excellent print. I want to get a big one now! Definitely one to keep.

First Purchase.

Bought my first two puzzles on 3 April 2024, and I have to say that I am delighted with them. The delivery was really quick, and came in a top quality box. The pieces are laser cut and hence are very precise and fit perfectly. An all-round excellent buy, and there will certainly be more to follow.

Loved making up this puzzle

Although i loved making this puzzle i was disapointed in the wood showing on the puzzles any other puzzle you might not notice but with black bits missing its very noticable. The more i look the more i notice it. Loved all the wimsies and how some go to gether.
