Early last century, Victory produced many puzzles featuring Cunard ocean liners. They were very popular in their day.

As a tribute to those early puzzles, we have launched a travel poster puzzle featuring one of the most famous ships of her time.

RMS Aquitania was a British ocean liner of the Cunard Line in service from 1914 to 1950. She was launched on 21 April 1913 and sailed on her maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York on 30 May 1914.

Considered during this period of time as one of the most attractive ships, Aquitania earned the nickname "The Ship Beautiful" from her passengers.

Aquitania was the third in Cunard Line's grand trio of express liners, preceded by RMS Mauretania and RMS Lusitania, and was the last surviving four-funnelled ocean liner.

She was converted to be both a hospital ship and a troop carrier in both world wars.

Aquitania ended her career as the longest-serving Cunard vessel when she retired from service in 1949.

Another great puzzle with excellent whimsies; I particularly like the dancing couple who appear to be doing the Lindy Hop. Three lines of writing on this poster, all satisfyingly difficult to do.

Vintage Poster - Cunard Line

An excellent puzzle with thoughtfully designed whimsies, especially the multi-piece ones. My husband had never shown an interest in wooden jigsaws until he saw yours, now he's hooked!
