I would like to introduce myself, I'm Andrew the (re)founder of Victory Wooden Puzzles. Together with my son, Aidan and some close friends, we re-established this century-old brand in 2022, a full 100 years after it was first introduced by Gerald Hayter in our hometown, Bournemouth in England.

I have spent my working life in the creative materials industry having been fortunate enough to be involved with a family business, Daler-Rowney - a British company and one of the most prestigious manufacturers of fine artists materials in the world. Later on I co-founded and ran Design Objectives (docrafts), which became a leading force in the craft materials industry, principally developing and selling materials to craftspeople for making their own greeting cards.

It has been an absolute honour being associated with brands and products that are ultimately enjoyed by enthusiasts like yourself. It has also been my pleasure to work with artists and craftspeople who are passionate about what they do and the joy that they create for others through their work.

We see ourselves as stewards or custodians of the Victory brand as our desire is that it continues on for at least another century. Much like our puzzles, we see the brand as something that we do not own, but merely look after for the next generation. Our desire is to bring the Victory brand back to its former glory, so once again it can be enjoyed by jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts, like yourself, throughout the world.

We take great pride in producing the finest quality wooden puzzles and we strive for the ultimate in customer satisfaction.

If you would like to learn more about our journey, I have written several posts which can be found in our 'Journal' - the first entry being this one: No.1 - ser·en·dip·i·ty....

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope that you find the time to read our journal entries to keep up to date with our progress.

If you have any questions or comments, especially about our puzzles, I can be reached via email - andrew@victorypuzzles.com

Best wishes and warm regards,

Andrew Knowles
